Hotel Capitan offered a delightful blend of charm and practicality for our recent holiday getaway. Nestled just outside Cangas de Onís, the location was perfect for exploring the stunning Asturias region without the hassle of crowded town life. I particularly enjoyed the spacious triple room with its comfortable beds and a lovely view of the river - a true treat for the soul. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of fresh options and robust coffee, all served by the incredibly friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. After enjoying a meal on the terrace, the scenic 30-minute walk along the river into town was a great way to start our day of adventure. With access to myriad outdoor activities like canyoning and canoeing, and the breathtaking backdrop of the Picos de Europa, Hotel Capitan makes a fantastic base for family or friends looking to experience Asturias' natural beauty. I left feeling rejuvenated, already looking forward to my next visit amid these beautiful landscapes.
